Gender differences and disabilities of depression in workplace
MALE DEPRESSED WORKERS TAKE LONGER TO RETURN TO WORK THAN FEMALE

The majority of depressed workers remained working with serious impairments and disabling cognitive complaints. The period of sick leave was significantly lengthier for men than women. General and gender-related strategies to handle depression in the workplace are recommended.

A LOS TRABAJADORES DE SEXO MASCULINO CON DEPRESIÓN LES LLEVA MÁS TIEMPO VOLVER AL TRABAJO

Un gran número de trabajadores con depresión desempeñan su tarea con graves dificultades y trastornos cognitivos invalidantes. El período de licencia por enfermedad fue significativamente más prolongado en los hombres que en las mujeres. Se recomiendan distintas estrategias generales y asociadas con el género destinadas al manejo de la depresión en el trabajo.
