Acute appendicitis mortality
MORTALITY FROM ACUTE APPENDICITIS IS ASSOCIATED WITH COMPLEX DISEASE AND COMORBIDITY.

Our study suggests in hospital mortality from acute appendicitis in Australia is rare and typically occurs in the setting of complex disease rather than following simple appendicectomy.
