Breast lesion excision system for breast biopsy

The Breast Lesion Excision System (BLES, Intact medical corporation, Natick MA, USA) is the latest available biopsy tool for percutaneous removal of a single gross breast specimen. It is handly and user friendly and is a valid option to remove suspicious microcalcifications allowing better histological interpretation and lower underestimation than VAB systems used in the 90s.
