LEIOMIOMA BENIGNO METASTÁTICO DE PULMÃO: DOIS CASOS COM DIFERENTES TRATAMENTOS

Existem dúvidas a respeito da evolução e tratamento do leiomioma benigno metastático sintomático. O tratamento de escolha nestes casos é a ooforectomia bilateral.O raloxifeno é um agente que não tem sido largamente estudado para este propósito, porém poderia ser incluído no arsenal terapêutico como uma opção acessível, em especial em mulheres ooforectomizadas sem regressão dos sintomas. Por serem desconhecidos os fatores de risco para metástases de miomas, acreditamos que mulheres submetidas a histerectomia com evidências anatomopatológicas de envolvimento intravascular devam ser acompanhadas por prolongado período de tempo.
