TRANSMISSÃO NOSOCOMIAL POR MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS NOS ESTUDANTES DA ÁREA DE SAÚDE EM UMA REGIÃO DE ALTA INCIDÊNCIA DE TUBERCULOSE, VITÓRIA, ESTADO DO ESPÍRITO SANTO

Estudo comparativo para avaliar a hipersensibilidade a tuberculina em estudantes de medicina, enfermagem e economia. Houve diferença entre a freqüência de reatividade PPD no grupo de estudantes de enfermagem (20.3%) e medicina (18.4%) comparativamente ao grupo dos estudantes de economia (6%), p < 0.001. Estes estudantes deveriam ser considerados como alvos de quimioprofilaxia.
