ESTUDIAN FACTORES DE RIESGO PARA INFECCIONES OPORTUNISTAS EN NIÑOS CON VIH TRATADOS CON TARGA

Boston, EE.UU.: En los pacientes pediátricos tratados con terapia antirretroviral de gran actividad, la presencia de bajos porcentajes de células CD4+ y de una categoría B ó C de la enfermedad al momento del inicio de dicho tratamiento, se asocian con mayor riesgo de presentar infecciones oportunistas.
