Journal of Experimental Medicine

The Journal of Experimental Medicine publishes important new advances in research areas that include but are not limited to: immunology, infectious disease, inflammation, hematopoiesis, cancer, stem cells, and vascular biology. The JEM has long been known for its emphasis on physiological mechanisms and has more recently championed basic research on human subjects. The JEM is a leading life sciences journal with an ISI impact factor of 14.588,* placing it among the top publications in two ISI categories: Immunology and Research & Experimental Medicine. The journalís articles also have lasting impact, with a cited half-life of seven years. With an acceptance rate below 15%, the JEM remains one of the most selective biomedical journals. Researchers who submit their work to the JEM benefit from an average time-to-first-decision of <5 weeks for reviewed manuscripts and <10 days for non-reviewed manuscripts. The average time from acceptance to publication remains under eight weeks. Begun in 1896 at the Johns Hopkins University, the JEM is owned and has been published on a not-for-profit basis by the Rockefeller University Press since 1905. The JEM is edited by a group of 11 Editorsóall working scientists and leaders in their respective fields. They are assisted by the Executive Editor, Jennifer Bell , and a board of 100 Advisory Editors. The JEM supports public access according to the Washington DC Principles for Free Access to Science and provides free access from the date of publication to 142 developing nations.

The Journal of Family and Community Medicine (JFCM) is the official journal of the Saudi Society of Family and Community Medicine. It is an international peer-reviewed journal. The purpose of the Journal is to promote excellence in the practice of Family and Community Medicine and closely related fields. The Journal has been established to promote the knowledge, attitude and practice of all aspects of comprehensive health care (preventive, curative and rehabilitative). The Journal also aims at facilitating the development of community-based research, education, and health services. Original papers, short communications, and letters to the editor are all welcomed. Case reports with substantial significance are also considered for publication. Manuscripts either in Arabic or English language are published. JFCM is indexed by Index Medicus for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMR) and is published once in every four months i.e., three issues in a year (April, August and December). The first issue was published in 1994. Still then, the journal was published regularly once in every six months. From the year 2000 it was decided to publish the journal once in every four months. As such, the journal is published 3 Issues. For every issue, 3000 copies are printed and it is distributed to all the universities, hospitals, primary health care centers, MOH offices, private hospitals and dispensaries, physicians who have subscribed to receive the journal on regular basis, and to the libraries of almost all the institutions in the Kingdom. The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry, the official Journal of the Histochemical Society, publishes papers that report the development of new histochemical and cytochemical methods, significant modifications of existing techniques, or original research in which histochemical and cytochemical methods make a significant contribution. Journal of Human Genetics is a leading international journal publishing articles on human genetics, including medical genetics and human genome analysis. We welcome papers on any aspects of human genetics, including gene cloning and mapping, linkage analysis, mutational analysis, evolution, cancer genetics, and gene therapy, as well as genetic and functional analysis of animal models of disease or behavior. The journal also welcomes clinical or cytogenetic case reports, as well as reports of genetic polymorphism of biologically important genes, novel mutations found in patients with hereditary diseases or in cancer cells, and population genetics. Data on novel pathological mutations of genes, in which many mutations have been reported, are not published in this journal. Data on a single or a few novel genetic polymorphisms are also not within the scope of the journal unless an author adds an association with some disease phenotype. However, a set of novel polymorphisms detected by systematic screening of an entire gene of biological or medical importance may be published as a short communication. The journal started its journey in October 1995 under the Editor-in-Chief Prof. Subir K Chatterjee. The journal publishes original articles, case reports, review articles and technical innovations. Special issues on different subjects are published every year. This is the only pediatric surgical journal published from Asia in English version.

The Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society (ISSN 0972-4052) aims to promote dialogue between the Prosthodontists all over the country and to nurture a scientific temper in both acamedicians and practioners alike. The Journal comes out with four issues per year. It would serve as a platform in which interesting case reports, scientific studies, literature reviews and valuable Tips can be exchanged for the common benefit of the Prosthodontic Community. It would also serve to bring evidence based dentistry to the forefront and highlight its importance.
