Immunology Letters provides a vehicle for the
speedy publication of full-length and short articles, Rapid Notes,
(mini)Reviews and Letters to the Editor addressing all aspects of
molecular and cellular immunology. The essential criteria for
publication will be clarity, experimental soundness and novelty.
Results contradictory to current accepted thinking or ideas divergent
from actual dogmas will be considered for publication provided that
they are based on solid experimental findings.
Preference will be given to papers of immediate importance to other
investigators, either by their experimental data, new ideas or new
methodology. Scientific correspondence to the Editor-in-Chief related
to the published papers may also be accepted provided that they are
short and scientifically relevant to the papers mentioned, in order to
provide a continuing forum for discussion. Within a reference section,
new mRNA sequences with unknown function, expressed sequence tags with
tissue distribution and novel monoclonal antibody descriptions are
considered for publication.

Louis Keith, M.D., PH.D
Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Nortwestern University
Medical School, Chicago, Illinois
The International Journal of Fertility and Women's Medicine
(IJF&WM) has
served the needs of physicians for over 50 years with cutting-edge
medical science on infertility and related women's medicine. The IJF&WM
is the best source for research, science, and medicine in the treatment
of infertility and other women's health issues (menopause, cardiology,
obesity, depression, pregnancy, and contraception) in part due to its
affiliation with the World Foundation for Medical Studies for Female
Health (WFFH), the leading medical foundation in the field. Since 1951,
the WFFH has helped pioneer the medical research studies and clinical
communications that are reflected in the IJF&WM.
The IJF&WM continues to expand its coverage
with peer-reviewed research and relevant medical studies to address the
increased incidence of infertility. With more than 25 million people
worldwide suffering from infertility, a number that rises 10% per year,
IJF&WM has become an essential tool

Journal of Medical Microbiology (IJMM)
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 11/2005-
Editor-in-Chief: Jörg Hacker, Institut für Molekulare
Infektionsbiologie, Universität Würzburg,
Röntgenring 11, D-97070 Würzburg, Germany
Pathogen genome sequencing projects have provided a wealth of data that
need to be set in context to pathogenicity and the outcome of
infections. In addition, the interplay between a pathogen and its host
cell has become increasingly important to understand and interfere with
diseases caused by microbial pathogens. IJMM meets these needs by
focussing on genome and proteome analyses, studies dealing with the
molecular mechanisms of pathogenicity and the evolution of pathogenic
agents, the interactions between pathogens and host cells ("cellular
microbiology"), and molecular epidemiology. To help the reader keeping
up with the rapidly evolving new findings in the field of medical
microbiology, IJMM publishes original articles, case studies and
topical, state-of-the-art mini-reviews in a well balanced fashion. All
articles are strictly peer-reviewed. Important topics are reinforced by
2 special issues per year dedicated to a particular theme. Finally, at
irregular intervals, current opinions on recent or future developments
in medical microbiology are presented in an editorial section.
Audience: Bacteriologists, mycologists, microbiologists,
parasitologists, infectiologists, molecular biologists, cell biologists

from radiation chemistry to the spectrum of responses of living
organisms and underlying mechanisms, including genetic abnormalities,
repair phenomena, cell death, dose modifying agents and tissue
responses. Application of basic studies to medical uses of radiation
extends the coverage to practical problems such as physical and
chemical adjuvants which improve the effectiveness of radiation in
cancer therapy. Assessment of the hazards of low doses of radiation is
also considered.

Interventional
Neuroradiology
The official journal
of the World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic
Neuroradiology and the Japanese Society for Intravascular Neurosurgery.
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 2004-
Interventional Neuroradiology
is
an international cross-disciplinary journal devoted to the study of
diagnostic and therapeutic neuroradiology and related neurosciences.
The discipline encompasses all those low invasive therapeutic
techniques variously known as therapeutic neuroradiology, endovascular
surgery, endovascular neurosurgery, etc. Interventional or therapeutic
neuroradiology is not confined to endovascular procedures. It is an
umbrella term embracing many treatments ranging from percutaneous
nucleotomy to stereotactic biopsies and radiosurgery and an array of
allied or overlapping disciplines from intensive care to physiology and
embryology.
The fact that all the procedures are performed in a radiological unit
using a neuroradiological approach is the reason we chose this name for
the journal. Interventional Neuroradiology aims to provide a forum to
exchange news and views on all aspects of this fascinating new field of
medicine. The journal publishes original papers, review papers,
opinions and case reports (commented by the editors) and congress
announcements. A special section will be devoted to "how-to-do- it"
professional news. Other features include a commented review of the
literature, a "library corner", biographical sketches of leading
figures and contributions on ethical issues and the cost- benefit
debate.
