Balneotherapy and microbiological safety

The role of UV radiation as an effective method for the disinfection of mineral thermal pool water to eliminate the microbiological risk posed by the presence of dermatophytes fungi was evaluated in this study.

En el presente estudio se evaluó el papel de la radiación UV, como un método eficaz de desinfección de las piscinas de aguas termales, destinado a eliminar el riesgo microbiológico, asociado con la presencia de hongos del género Dermatophytes.
