SEX DIFFERENCES IN HEART FAILURE OUTCOMES

From 2009 to 2013, the incidence of heart failure in Ontario has declined in both women and men and remains higher in men. However, women remain more likely to die from the disease. The rates of hospitalization decreased over this time period in men but increased in women.
