Este trabajo analiza la utilidad del seguimiento tomográfico en pacientes con LNH en estadio precoz para detección precoz de recaída y la exposición a radiación.

UTILIDAD DEL SEGUIMIENTO TOMOGRÁFICO DE LINFOMA NO HODGKIN EN ESTADIO TEMPRANO

El seguimiento con tomografía de cuerpo entero en los LNH en estadio precoz es pauta habitual. Sin embargo, la mayoría de las recaídas se detectan clínicamente, generándose una exposición considerable a radiación, sin utilidad demostrada. Realizar CT limitada al sitio comprometido en el seguimiento de estos pacientes podría ser una pauta más razonable.
