El trabajo muestra la problemática epidemiológica de la tos ferina en población adolescente

BORDETELLA PERTUSSIS EN ESTUDIANTES ADOLESCENTES DE LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO

Los adolescentes son potencialmente suceptibles de transmitir la enfermedad a grupos vulnerables ya que carecen de sintomatología o presentan síntomas de catarro común que remiten sin tratamiento, aun en presencia de Bordetella. Debe tenerse especial cuidado en evitar el contacto con la población suceptible cuando un joven mayor de 10 años presente un cuadro catarral y tos persistente.
