La exposición a bajas dosis (aquellas consideradas “ambientalmente relevantes”) del xenoestrógeno bisfenol A en etapas tempranas del desarrollo de la hembra altera la respuesta del útero al estímulo de los esteroides ováricos.

LA EXPOSICION NEONATAL A XENOESTROGENOS ALTERA LA RESPUESTA DEL UTERO RELACIONADA CON LA IMPLANTACION

Se sugiere que la alteración de la expresión de Hoxa10 y Hoxa11 debido a la exposición neonatal a xenoestrógenos sería responsable de reprogramar la respuesta normal de las células del estroma uterino al estímulo de E y P durante la vida adulta.
