EN ESTE TRABAJO SE DEMUESTRA QUE EXISTEN AMBAS VARIANTES DE LA HB, HB FANNIN-LUBBOCK-I (CON UNA SOLA MUTACIÓN) Y HB FANNIN-LUBBOCK-II CON DOS MUTACIONES

LA HB FANNIN-LUBBOCK-I ES DIFERENTE A FANNIN-LUBBOCK-II ENCONTRADA EN ESPAÑA

CON BASE EN NUESTROS RESULTADOS, CONFIRMAMOS LA EXISTENCIA DE HB FANNIN-LUBBOCK-I CON UNA SOLA MUTACIÓN EN BETA119 CON EL CAMBIO DE AMINOÁCIDO GLI>ASP QUE LE CONFIERE SUS CARACTERÍSTICAS ELECTRÓFORETICAS (MOVILIDAD RÁPIDA) Y DE INESTABILIDAD, Y PROPONEMOS QUE ESTA MUTACIÓN TIENE UN ORIGEN DIFERENTE DE LA IDENTIFICADA EN LAS FAMILIAS ESPAÑOLAS.
