Procesamiento de muestras de orina y cambios en la mezcla de reacción para mejorar la detección de leptospiras por PCR

ESTRATEGIAS PARA OPTIMIZAR LA DETECCION DE LEPTOSPIRAS EN ORINA MEDIANTE LA TECNICA DE PCR

Para la detección de Leptospira por PCR en orina se recomienda la neutralización de la muestra inmediatamente recolectada y no congelarla antes de procesarla. Para evitar inhibiciones, resultaron útiles el lavado después de recoger las leptospiras por centrifugación y la utilización de seroalbúmina bovina en la mezcla de reacción.
