REGENERACION DEL MIOCARDIO: MITO O REALIDAD

Nuestro grupo creó un método completamente autólogo de elaboración de cultivos celulares para regenerar y reparar el tejido miocárdico patológico. Los métodos considerados “clásicos” para cultivar células utilizan suero bovino fetal. Al emplear suero humano autólogo nuestro método evita la fijación de proteínas animales heterólogas en la superficie de las células en cultivo, que pueden originar luego reacciones inflamatorias e inmunológicas responsables de la formación de fibrosis en el miocardio y circuitos de conducción aberrantes, responsables de arritmias malignas
