CONTRIBUIÇÃO DA BIOMONITORIZAÇÃO AMBIENTAL COM LÍQUENES PARA A AVALIAÇÃO DA EXPOSIÇÃO HUMANA ÀS DIOXINAS

A monitorização ambiental com líquenes permite seleccionar populações expostas e populações controlo em estudos de saúde pública. Os líquenes, simbioses entre fungos e algas, integram os poluentes ao longo do tempo, reflectindo a atmosfera a que os humanos e outros seres vivos estiveram expostos durante esse período.
