Este es el primer estudio publicado que realmente analiza todo el perfil oxidativo de la mujer menopaúsica y el efecto que tiene en ella la TRH. Es la primera que estudia el efecto de la TRH en la oxiadaciòn del ADN in vivo.

EL USO DE LA TRH DISMINUYE LA OXIDACIÓN LIPÍDICA Y DE ADN EN MUJERES POSMENOPÁUSICAS

La etapa posmenopaúsica de la mujer se asocia con un perfil oxidativo desfavorable. En este estudio concluimos que la terapia de reemplazo hormonal no tiene ningún efecto nocivo sobre el perfil oxidativo y más bien disminuye la oxidación del ADN y de los lípidos, lo cual puede tener efecto en la salud cardiovascular y el proceso de envejecimiento en sí.
