Los resultados del presente estudio demuestran que dos factores no modificables como la edad y el sexo no son predictores independientes de mortalidad en pacientes que sufren hemorragia supratentorial espontánea.

LA EDAD Y EL SEXO NO PREDICEN LA MORTALIDAD EN PACIENTES CON HEMORRAGIA SUPRATENTORIAL ESPONTÁNEA

Se han descrito distintos factores clínicos, humorales, tomográficos, hábitos o antecedentes personales con la finalidad de determinar si se comportan o no como predictores de mortalidad en pacientes que sufren una hemorragia intracerebral espontánea. En la serie analizada concluimos que ni la edad ni el sexo son predictores de mortalidad en esta patología.
