El trabajo contribuye con la creación de una nueva línea celular mamífera que expresa al receptor nicotinico de acetilcolina alpha 7 en forma estable y funcional. Esto la convierte en una herramienta excelente para el estudio de este subtipo de receptor

LA PROTEINA RIC-3 MEDIA LA EXPRESION ESTABLE DEL RECEPTOR NICOTINICO DE ACETILCOLINA ALPHA 7 EN LA SUPERFICIE DE CELULAS MAMIFERAS

Se creó una línea celular de mamífero (SHE-P1-h7-Ric-3) la cual expresa en membrana plasmática al receptor de acetilcolina nicotínico neuronal alfa7 humano. Con esta nueva herramienta celular realizamos estudios farmacológicos y electrofisiológicos para caracterizarla.
