Esta investigación contribuye al conocimiento de la epidemiología de las infecciones por Escherichia coli patógenas

PCR MULTIPLEX PARA LA IDENTIFICACION DE ESCHERICHIA COLI DIARREOGENICAS

Es posible y factible realizar la amplificación simultánea de los genes de virulencia que permiten diferenciar tres categorías de E. coli diarreogénicas (ECEH, ECET y ECEP); la cual puede ser aplicada en el diagnóstico de cepas de pacientes con SHU y de cepas de pacientes de brotes por intoxicación con alimentos, y puede ser una herramienta útil en el diagnóstico rápido de infecciones por E. coli diarreogénicas.
