Nuevo modelo del mecanismo de acción de las toxinas Cry de Bacillus thuringiensis que involucra la participación secuencial de ambos receptores

OLIGOMERIZACION DE CRY1AB DE BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS INCREMENTA UNION A AMINOPEPTIDASA E INSERCION EN MEMBRANA

El mecanismo de acción de las toxinas Cry de Bacillus thuringiensis involucra la participación secuencial de receptores. La toxina en forma monomérica interactúa con el receptor caderina, esto induce un cambio conformacional y corte de hélice alfa-1. Se exponen sitios hidrofóbicos y provoca oligomerización. El oligómero incrementa la afinidad por receptor-aminopeptidasa. Este receptor induce inserción de toxina en microdominios de membrana.
