Los lípidos endonucleares poseen un alto contenido de ácidos grasos de la serie n-6, principalmente de 20:4 y el 18:2

LOS LIPIDOS ENDONUCLEARES POSEEN UN ALTO CONTENIDO DE ACIDOS GRASOS POLIINSATURADOS

Los lípidos endonucleares constituyen el 20% de los lípidos nucleares, siendo PtdCho > PtdEtn , PtdIns, SM y PtdSer. Los ácidos araquidónico (20:4n-6) y el linoleico (18:2n-6), son los poliinsaturados mayoritarios (> 20% y 15% respectivamente). El 20:4n-6 se encuentra esterificado en sn-2 de PtdCho en las siguientes especies moleculares: 18:2-20:4, 18:1-20:4, 16:0-20:4 y 18:0-20:4.
