PENILE PRIMARY MELANOMA AND THE TREATMENT IN EARLY STAGES
Penile melanoma affects elderly patients. We studied six patients referred to our Institute. The lesion generally is located on the glans (55%), followed by foreskin (28%), penile shaft (9%) and urethral meatus (8%) (5). Prognosis is generally poor. It is possible to maximize cure with treatment in its early stages.

A BRIEF SUMMARY ABOUT PREDICTIVE FACTORS FOR BREECH PRESENTATION
Advanced maternal age, early gestational age, low neonatal weight, female gender, nulliparity, previous cesarean section, tobacco smoke, decreased volume of amniotic fluid, fundal placenta position, parents themselves delivered in breech presentation, congenital malformation, and low PAPP-A values at first trimester screening resulted to be risk factors for fetal breech presentation at delivery.

ANTILEUKEMIA ACTIVITIES OF RETINOID AND ARSENIC
All-trans retinoic acid and arsenic trioxide are recently recognized as effective agents to treat acute promyelocytic leukemia. These two agents reduce leukemia cells followed by affecting the function of the PML-RAR alpha, an unusual molecule as a result of the t(15;17) chromosomal translocation.

SCREENING PROGRAMS WITH FECAL IMMUNOCHEMICAL TEST REDUCE COLORECTAL CANCER MORTALITY
We compared colorectal cancer mortality of areas with and without a screening program based on the fecal immunochemical test. Before screening onset incidence and mortality rates were similar. Over 10 years with screening, mortality rates declined by 22% compared to other areas, from 45.7 to 36.2 x 100.000.
