Contribución al conocimiento de la prevalencia, características clínicas, tratamiento quirúrgico y pronóstico de las variantes infrecuentes del leiomioma uterino

Las variantes histológicas del leiomioma constituyen entidades poco frecuentes en la práctica clínica. Tienen un curso clínico benigno y sus indicaciones terapéuticas son las mismas que las del leiomioma común, teniendo siempre en consideración la edad de la paciente y su deseo de preservación de la fertilidad.
