BACTÉRIAS RESISTENTES A CARBAPENEMOS EM ÁGUAS DE RIOS

Há bactérias altamente resistentes a antibióticos em rios. A poluição das águas é um factor que contribui para o tipo de resistência: em águas poluídas surgem resistências típicas de ambientes hospitalares; em águas não poluídas as resistências são “primitivas”, baseiam-se nos naturais mecanismos de defesa das bactérias contra antagonistas.
