LAS ESTATINAS REDUCEN EL RIESGO DE CÁNCER PROSTÁTICO AVANZADO

Baltimore, EE.UU.: Si bien no puede establecerse una relación entre la incidencia global de cáncer prostático y el empleo de estatinas para disminuir el colesterol, en una cohorte numerosa se comprobó que estos agentes se asociaron con menor riesgo de detección de cáncer prostático en etapa avanzada.
