Textos completos autorizados (TCA).
encontrarán comentarios, entrevistas, notas periodísticas, cartas a
autores u otros textos precursores de debates o aclaratorios.
Sociedad Iberoamericana de Información Científica (SIIC) selects
complete quality-full texts which have been recently published in
renowned sources worldwide and are indexed by SIIC Data
Bases.
The increasing number of Open Access articles widens the reading offer
but, also, such myriad complicates the readers search of fundamental
articles. To facilitate this, SIIC biomedical professionals daily
consult a profuse amount of documents that will feed
Authorized Full Texts (TCA, Spanish acronym).
The citations of the AFT section link legally, authorized and free of
charge with the full texts published in the official web sites of
their corresponding sources.
SIIC created, produced and handles the AFT software that deciphers
the various documentary fields that form part of the structure of a
study: specialty, study style, source, publication and selection
dates, source definition, query limitations, summary in Spanish,
etc.
While most of the selected texts belong to original articles,
reviews, and guidelines, readers will also find commentaries,
interviews, journalistic reports, letters to authors or other texts
that may lead to discussions or clarifications.

Propofol-remifentanil intravenous anesthesia combined with
long-acting local anesthetic regional block anesthesia, combined with laryngeal
mask ventilation technology without muscle relaxants, can be safely used in
pediatric eye surgery to achieve rapid and smooth recovery from general
anesthesia and better postoperative analgesia. This anesthesia scheme can improve
the comfort and safety of children in perioperative period, and has a certain
clinical popularization value.

Our study showed that frozen cytology pellets may have
equivalent diagnostic value to frozen tissue for NGS analyses. Bronchial cytology
specimens are usually used only for cytology, but NGS analysis is possible if
enough cells are collected to create pellet specimens. In particular, the frozen
cytology pellets obtained by endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial
needle aspiration yielded sufficient amounts of DNA. TRIAL REGISTRATION: This was

Frequency of antibiotic
prescribing for sore throat is high and broad, despite Australian Therapeutic
guideline recommendations. Multiple, sustained interventions to reduce
prescribing, including availability of effective S. pyogenes vaccines that could
reduce the incidence of streptococcal pharyngitis, could obviate the need to
prescribe antibiotics and support ongoing efforts to promote antimicrobial
stewardship.

highlights the diagnostic potential of CRP, ESR, PCT, LDH, and CER for IPA in

suggesting its significance for further research.

AND RELEVANCE:
Hospitalizations for RSV and bronchiolitis demonstrated atypical seasonality in
2021 and 2022, with an overall increase in RSV encounters. Postpandemic RSV
hospitalization increased for all ages, but especially among older children,
whereas bronchiolitis hospitalization was decreased or unchanged compared with
earlier seasons. These findings suggest some of the observed increase in RSV
hospital use may be due to increased testing.

Though
seasonal variation and referral practices must be considered, a high rate of
revisits to the ICF were recorded. While visits to the LED decreased after the
implementation of the ICF, visits returned to the pre-ICF levels during the
routine running of the ICF. The results show that AS&R require reliable access to
health care, yet the needs of specific groups of migrants may be different,
especially those with language barriers, minority groups or those from certain
regions. As such, care should be migrant sensitive and adapt to the changing
needs of the population. Though more research is required to better understand
the differing needs of migrants, this study may help to inform guidelines
surrounding migrant sensitive standards of care in Germany.

Spinal fusion surgery is beneficial for SMA patients in preventing scoliosis
progression and improving ventilation. However, severe scoliosis and thoracic
deformities put them at risk of both hemodynamic and respiratory instability
during surgical positioning. When advanced monitoring like TEE is not practical
intraoperatively, preoperative imaging may help with differential diagnosis, and
guide the surgical positioning to minimize mechanical compression of the thoracic
cavity, thereby helping the patient complete the surgery safely.
