Introducción:
En las mujeres, la nicturia afecta la calidad de vida a través de la deprivación del sueño, el compromiso del funcionamiento diario y la productividad. Una vez descartadas las causas subyacentes que ameriten tratamiento e instauradas las habituales medidas conservadoras, la persistencia de las manifestaciones sugiere la importancia y necesidad de implementar tratamiento farmacológico.
